Cheshme

With its sun and wind, Cheshme is a popular place for hardened competitors.

Because of its nearly constant northerly winds and its modern well equipped marina, Cheshme is heavenly for yachters.

The Cheshme peninsula is especially suitable for yachting between May and September. It is a unique pleasure to experience the wind in Cheshme, which serves yachting with the llica, Dalyankoy, Sipacik, Altinvunus Setur, and Alasati piers as well as the Cheshme Marina. The International Cheshme Yacht Club and the Turkish offshore Racing Club organize various activities and competitions in Cheshme.

llica Marina: The llica marina, which has a 250 m long breakwater, is the yachters' choice particularly because of llica's appeal in the area. The marina will be able to host 200 yachts and 50 fishing boats on completion of its reconstruction.

AltinYunus Setur Marina: This marina, which is located in the AltinYunus Hotel, has a capacity of 240 yachts, 180 (floating), and 60 (quayside). In addition to, electricity, water, maintenance phone and waste removal services, the marina offers weather reports, fuel and restaurant services, which make it a key facility in the area. The marina is a private business, and is one of the most popular marinas in C^e^me.

Alacati Pier: The bays to the south of the town are paradises for yachters. 80 boats can stay in the Alagati Pier at any given time.

Dalyankoy Marina: This marina is a natural bay, which lends itself to being a perfect winter refuge. It is public property.

Alacati Marina: The Alaejati bay area and its marina are paradises for both yachters and surfers with its wind and stable water.

Cheshme Marina: The Ñåsòå marina, recently modernized in 2010, has a capacity of 400 yachts. The marina is naturally well protected by the inlet and wave breaker to the North West.

Yachting

Cheshme, which almost always has the wind required for yachting, is one of the most significant centers in Europe!

Yachting is a sport, which lets you feel the wind inside you, while soaring on the great seas, and it introduces you to new levels of excitement that are not found elsewhere. It is the perfect sport for those with a taste for adrenaline. Yachting can be done at almost any age. It is like playing chess on the sea; your ability and determination improves as you “play". And that's exactly what makes yachting so enjoyable.

Yachting has become increasingly popular in Turkey in recent years. The Cheshme Yachting Week, which is organized by the Aegean Offshore Yacht Club, is a recreational activity that brings native and foreign yachters alike together. The primary condition required for yachting is a continuous and stable wind. Cheshme is one of the rare places to boast this property. Following the Cheshme Yachting Week, which is held in the middle of July, there are 5 different races all held as a part of the East Aegean Yachting Week Activity.

It is becoming increasingly popular, being relatively inexpensive and suitable for all age groups, though teenagers especially go carting to have fun, forget their worries and burn excess energy. "This is the right place for people who want to live on the fast lane"

Another love

Loving Cheshme so much, getting upset and getting really happy for this place is certainly another kind of love. So, Mr. and Mrs. Ekinci work hard and they do as much as they can. It’s because they want everybody to love pe;me and keep it. And they believe that how comfartable and friendly they make their place and how delicious and attentive they make their food they can host many more people than today in Qegme. can say ‘they work really hard, moreover 12 months in a year!’ about them. While they are working and earning the only thing in their minds is ‘what else we can do?’.They don’t have troubles about travelling round the world and visiting new places because they have already set up a really big world in their small one.
