The nature of the Khibiny is a unique place for active tourism. Not only sportsmen but amateur tourists are hiking and sometimes they are not ready to meet danger. One of the most widespread reason of accidents is insufficient training and indiscipline. Tourist should remember that mountains, woods and reservoirs have serious threat for life and health, are not Neither lovers nor professionals are insured from tragedy. Therefore it is highly unrecommended to go to campaign uncontrolled and not preliminary having registered.

Do not forget to be registered before going to a hiking!

It is possible to be registered: in Rescue division of Kirovsk (Soviet Constitution str., 3).

All day operative personnel give free consultation on avalanche danger, the closed areas and the Khibiny. Professional rescuer answers yourquestions(81531 58895, from 8:00 till 17:00.)

Kuelporr post (in the centre of the Khibiny mountains). Two professional rescuers all the day are on duty. Radio and telecommunication is constantly supported. There is a warmed habitation to 50persons. Houses with furniture, plank beds, bath.
