Viherlandia

Turning to the right at the entrance, we are entering a fantastic exposition of pots, rich as to its variety, which will take us into a Jungle Wing. Our skin is gently caressed by the moisture warm tropical air. It feels nice to rest one’s feet under the lemon- or bougainville tree in blossom and wonder about all the bunches of bananas or other exotic plants.

Viherlandia, the greatest Finnish gardening centre, is yearly visited by almost 400 000 visitors who are looking for an experi-ence and adventure. This pleasant green-house has become a popular visiting and shopping centre of all age groups.

The customers may enjoy a wide, seasonally changing assortment of plants - a result of work and professional care of our gardeners.

Entrance

Our visitors are first welcome by an attractive ‘Cactus-land’ nicely edged with the snake plants (sausevierias). The hottest wall of Viherlandia - most suitable place for cactus-growing - has been chosen for the Cactus-land.

A sightseeing tour goes on through a beautiful flower market towards the Wing of Growth which is full of pot flowers grown in our own garden.

A part of our cutflowers - finally treated by the skillful fingers of florists - comes also from our own garden. We find the festive decorations, nicely designed, to have a favourable and refreshing effect on us.
