Embrace the peace given by various forms of nature tourism

Qatak Nature Park, 22 km from the city centre, is one of the attractive day trip destinations in the vicinity of Uorum. The park has a natural setting? is rich with beautiful landscape and is much admired by nature-lovers. Foxes, rabbits, wolves, partridges, and song birds find shelter beneath varieties of Black and Scotch pine. There are set hiking routes in the area. The first path starts from the where the road to (?alyayla Village splits and finishes 7 km later in the Alagoz Plateau. The second path starts in Alagoz Plateau then goes 3 km back to fatak Nature Park and it is completed by a 2 km extension to the ?atak Nature Park Recreation Spot.

Siklik Recreation Spot is located on the (Comm- Samsun highway, close to forum city centre.

Bahabey Pine Park is a recreation spot offering picnic and entertainment possibilities for day visits.

The Sagmaci Waters in KuSsaray Village are the source for the drinking water of the city. The local trout is well worth a try. iskilip Elmabeli is on the Iskilip-Tosya highway, 13 km from iskilip. It boasts playing field, recreation spots, picnic area and entertainment for day visits.

Kargi Plateau (Eginonii) is located in the hilly region in the northern section of Kargi District. It is 140 km from forum and 26 km far from Kargi.

There are Eginonii, Aksu, Karandu, Gol, Orencik, Karaboya, GokSedogan plateaus all interlinked in this region. These plateaus have good examples of traditional houses of the distinctive regional architecture.

Abdullah Plateau is located in Kargi and on (forum’s highest mountain, Kose Dagi (2050 m). It is 114 km from Corum and 26 km from Kargi. As well as its potable water and untouched nature, it is noted for its rich flora and fauna such as the varieties of Black and Scotch pine. There are places to stay, restaurants and picnic areas in its environs.Walking and riding courses start from the Abdullah Plateau through the Biiklii Road and Otuziki Catal Cam to Oynar Plateau. Visitors often enjoy surveying the scenery from the watch tower in Oynar Plateau with binoculars.

Bayat Kunduzlu and Kuscacimeni Plateaux are located in Karatepe, north of the Bayat District.It is 100 km from the city centre and 25 km from the district centre. The local people have a traditional life on this plateau. Tents are pitched for camping in the summer months on Kuicagimeni Plateau.These plateaus are especially noted for their flora: Black pine, Scotch pine, fir trees, water sources and untouched nature.

Iskilip Plateaus are noted for their beauty covered with flora such as Black pine, Scotch pine, fir and oak trees on top of the mountain range to the north of iskilip province. Elmali-BeSoluk, ?iSekli, Demirbukii, Yalak plateaus attract visitors to their picnic areas.

Osmancik Baspmar Karaca Plateau is 8 km from Baspinar town. There are camping and accommodation options and there are also places to stay in the town centre. Hiking paths start from the Karaca Plateau and finish in Koklen residential area going via ?i?ekli Hill and Cinci Hill.

Incesu Canyon is located in incesu Village of Ortakoy District. It is 12.5 km long and between 40 and 60 m in width, has steep slopes on both sides and has a single entrance and exit. There are also forested areas in this marvel of nature. The Canyon is suitable for rafting and hiking. The courses start at Hazankaya town in Aydincik province of Yozgat city and finish in Corum- Ortakoy-lncesu Village.
