Novocherkassk has been created as a new capital of the Don Cossacks, following wide span of its streets and squares, meant for reconnaissance of the cavalry squadrons and featuring parade triumphal arches together with monumental and majestic cathedral. Azov might seem to the traveller as a surprisingly quiet and provincial township. One fact evidences the great historic significance of Azov, that it is the only town in the world, in honor of which they called the sea, bearing the same name.
