"Burtasy” sport complex

One of the Penza Region's miracles - “Burtasy” sport complex. The complex incorporates a universal sports arena for 2.000 spectators.

It is possible to run competitions on various kinds of sport there, primarily on sports gymnastic and calisthenics.

The major component of the complex is a huge trining gymnassium - 83.2 x 45.2 m with a height of 9.3 m. Its parameters surpass the requirements for such complexes in this country. The hall is rigged with modern sports equipment.

The complex also incorporates the Medical Center, providing arenas and a training hall, as well as a hotel for 200 guests, a zone for sports boutiques, a recreation bath zone, a canteen, and a spacious (29.5 x 29.5 m) fitness hall.

The complex is equipped with a 50 m swimming-pool and a jumping pool (24 x 24 m), which were designed in conformity with the Olympic requirements.

Sport palace «Olympiysky»

The following services for the population are delivered in the sport palace:

• swimming-pool - a big pool (1351.8 sq. m), a small pool (108.7 sq. m) and the stands with 258 places;
• two halls for practicing fitness - 217.7 sq. m & 141.9 sq. m for training groups in: force aerobics, dancing aerobics, ball aerobics, step & aqua aerobics;
• wrestling hall (220.4 sq. m):
• training hall (228.4 sq. m) rigged with modern training equipment;
• game halls: a basketball ground (622.8 sq. m), a volleyball ground (622.8 sq. m), a soccer field (2.151.6 sq. m) and the stands with 576 places;
• two courts for lawn-tennis (1.245.54 sq. m) and the stands with 360 places;
• two saunas and a hotel for 50 guests.
