In July of 2004 year at Moscow stadium Trud has passed demonstrational parage of participants of X open (International) Championship of Russia on combined events of rescuers, V National competitions of search and rescue calculations of dog service of the Ministry of Emergency Measures of Russia and II National championship of rescuers among students. Thousand rescuers are participated in competitions, came from: Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Mongolia.

In 2007 under the initiative and on means of Group Magnezit shareholders has been opened a sports complex «Olympus» at the stadium of high school ¹ 4. It has tartan turf for whole-year trainings of football players and competitions of different rank. There are 1600 schoolboys from 8 schools of the district training and playing football here. The competitions, such as: Tournament of the Oral Federal region among children's homes and boarding-schools with participation of commands from Chelyabinsk, Sverdlovsk, Tyumen regions, Yamal-Nenets and Khanty-Mansiisk autonomous districts was gamed here; tournament in honor of the 250 Satka anniversary with participation of 8 children-youthful teams; festival of yard-football - for all Chelyabinsk region. Also more mature football players are competing here - from professionals to sport veterans.

«We are going to the mountain open spaces, where the spring is raving. Here bogs as coyotes, bite off bumpers of the cars...» - the song of final stage participants of the V Russian championship of off-road «Zakha-2003». They really had to inject a fair portion of adrenaline into blood, was trying strength against arduous landscapes of Satka area - mountain passes, stone hills, rough river streams, impassable thickets and bogs. In the district has passed a preparatory stage of national competition on automobile sports among AWD vehicles under the Federation formula of Russian car sports and tourism.

In 2007, after a 15-year break, motor rally competitions have returned to South Urals. Motor rally «South Ural» - a stage of the Russian Open Championship on classical rally- annually passes in Satka district, on technological lines of «Bakal mines». The most complicated soil stony roads abounding with sharp turns, springboards, level differences up to 400 metres and breakages by depth in tens metres adds to these competitions additional dramatic nature and staginess. The best race drivers of the country from Vladivostok to Kaliningrad take part in them, and also famous racers of the world - from France, Sweden, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Estonia. The absolute winner of the International rally «South Ural - 2009» became the Swedish crew of Patrick Flodin and Joran Bergsten.
