Cojusna

The National Wine Holiday was instituted to show the importance of viticulture in the Republic of Moldova. This is the officialization of old traditions with the participation of wine producers and enterprises from Moldova, of craftsmen, artistic and dance bands, etc.

Wine factory Cojusna is situated at a distance of about 12 km from Chisinau. It was founded in 1964. Winery's underground collection comprises about one million bottles, there is a constant temperature of+14 +16 C and 75 SOX humidity in collection room, conditions under which the wines can he kept 25years (white wines), 30 years (red wines) and 100years (dessert wines), the factory is composed from a hall which connects 2 tasting rooms: the White Room (it is an official one, for banquets, having 55places) and Stone Room (having a national style, with 50 places). The rooms are placed at 12 m death. Cojusna's wine collection comprises such wines like: Riesling, Sauvignon,Aligote, Cabernet, Comrat, Heres, Cagor, Muscat, etc.

The wine makers from Cojusna were awarded at the international competitions and won the following medals: gold medal in Romania (1992-1993), silver medal in Moldova (1997), gold medal in Soci (2001).
