Tsar-Cannon
The Tsar-Cannon is a unique monument of historical Russian artillery and is
also located in the Kremlin.
It is the largest caliber weapon in the world. Its barrel weighs 40 tons. The
canon was cast in bronze by Andrey Chekhov, a master caster, in 1586, and was
intended to protect the passage across the Moscow River. However, the Tsar Canon
has never tired.
