Vyatskiye Polyany

Vyatskiye Polyany is the town of regional subordination located in the extreme south-east of the Kirov region. The distance to Kirov is 350 km. The population of the town is 42.4 thousand persons. Vyatskiye Polyany is the center of the municipal area with the same name and a large railway station. The distance to Moscow by rail is about 1,000 km.

Vyatskiye Polyany Engineering Plant Molot, OJSC is one of the largest plants in the region.

Vyatskiye Polyany is one of the most beautiful and well-managed towns in the region. It is the town of new building projects. The Labour Square with vocal sound-and-light fountains and blossoming flowerbeds is in the center of the town. Nearby are a modern hotel complex Vyatskiye Zori and a recreation center Pobeda. The old part of the town has a flavor of the merchants’ times.
